Topic: Where do I even start?
Get Grounded in Your Financial Picture - Without Shame, Spreadsheets, or Overwhelm.
âYears ago, I handed over the finances in my marriage to someone I trusted. Two years later, everything fell apart. I lost it allâand had no idea where I stood financially. That was the moment I realized how much Iâd handed over⌠and how much I needed to take back. ~ Julieâ
In this first session, weâll have a real, honest conversation about what it feels like to be completely in the dark about your moneyâand how to start finding your footing again.
Weâre not handing out worksheets or teaching budgeting strategies. Instead, Iâll share what it looked like for me to wake up financially, and the small, meaningful steps I took to begin understanding where I stoodâwithout shame or overwhelm.
Whether youâve never looked at a budget, havenât checked your accounts in months, or just feel disconnected from your finances⌠youâre in the right place.

Investing Without the Intimidation
What Every Woman Deserves to Know About Growing Her Money
âAfter rebuilding the basics of my financial life, I realized I had no idea how to make my money work for me. The word âinvestingâ felt intimidating and out of reach - like something other people did. Smart people. Wealthy people. Not women like me, who were starting over. ~ Julieâ
In this conversation, weâll unpack the emotional weight so many women carry around investing - whether itâs fear of doing it wrong, shame for not starting sooner, or just confusion about where to begin.
You wonât walk away with a portfolio plan or a crash course in financial markets. But you will leave with a clearer understanding of what investing really means, why it matters, and how to start shifting from fear to possibility.
Through my own story, and with Matthewâs insight, weâll open the door to a more empowered relationship with your moneyâone where growing your wealth doesnât feel off-limits, complicated, or overwhelming.

What's Enough?
Rethinking Retirement on Your Terms
âThere was a time I couldnât even say the word âretirementâ without feeling a wave of panic. I didnât have savings. I had a pension, yesâbut no clear sense of what life could look like beyond the next few years. Everything I thought was secure had crumbled. I wasnât just starting over - I was redefining what âenoughâ even meant. ~ Julieâ
This session isnât about charts, savings calculators, or timelines. Itâs about peeling back the assumptions so many of us carry - about what retirement should look like - and starting to imagine what it could mean for you.
Through my own story of rebuilding from scratch, and with insights from Matthewâs financial planning lens, weâll talk about how to reconnect with your future - not from a place of fear, but from a place of choice.
You donât have to have all the answers. You just need a starting point that reflects who you are now, and where youâd love to go next.

Protect What Matters
Planning for Lifeâs What-IfsâBefore You Need To
âWhen everything in my life fell apart, I didnât just lose money - I lost my sense of safety. I hadnât thought to ask questions about protection, insurance, or what would happen if. I trusted the system I was in. But when that system broke down, I was left with nothing in place to protect me or those I loved. ~ Julieâ
This conversation isnât about fear. Itâs about freedom -Â the kind that comes from knowing youâve taken steps to secure what matters most.
In this final session, weâll talk honestly about what it means to be protected - not just legally or financially, but emotionally. Iâll share what I wish I had known sooner, and how Iâve come to define protection on my terms.
Together with Matthew, weâll explore simple questions every woman should be able to ask - and answer - about her future, her family, and her peace of mind.
Because you deserve to feel safe, informed, and empowered - even in lifeâs most uncertain seasons.
Why We Created This Series
Iâm Julie Caldwell, transformational life strategist and founder of the #Ignite movement. I work with high-achieving women who are craving more alignment between the life they've built and the life they actually want. One of the biggest themes that keeps surfacing in our conversations? Money.
Not just how to make more of it - but how to feel confident managing it, understand it deeply, and make financial decisions that reflect your values.
Thatâs why I partnered with Matthew Henley, RBC Investment Advisor. Together, weâve created a safe, supportive space to explore the real stories behind the numbers. Matthew has been guiding me through parts of my own financial rebuilding - and brings years of expertise, insight, and a unique approach that combines practical advice with personal connection. Heâs the kind of advisor who helps you feel comfortable asking the questions you were too afraid to say out loud.
This series was born out of lived experience - from bankruptcies and divorce, to shame, fear, and eventually, empowerment. We created it to open the door to conversations most women have never been invited intoâuntil now.Â
